About Us
NW Printers, based in the heart of the North East of England, was founded in 1926. This family run business moved into the current purpose built facilities at the Team Valley in Gateshead in 1992.
The company has grown from strength to strength by adopting the simple philosophy 'move with the times and adapt quickly to customers' changing needs'. A planned investment programme has lead the way into the digital printing revolution. Looking at this as an opportunity for increased business has meant that NW Printers have maintained a strong growth over the last few years.
With the most up-to-date design, computer origination facilities, printing presses and print finishing equipment NW provide a broad spectrum of printed formats. Brochures to catalogues and booklets, literature, tickets and forms, and corporate stationery.
Total Print Management
NW Printers offer their customers a Total Print Management service from
initial design concept through to finished media. For clients who originate
material themselves we offer a service that accepts any type of computer
disc from MAC or PC, provide colour proofs as required and carry out all
printing and finishing.
Safe in Our Hands
Archiving and retrieval of origination and ensuring it is safe is looked
upon as an integral part of our printing service. NW recoginise the importance
of maintaining safe, secure data storage & have invested in high capacity
digital storage formats that are stored away in fire proof safes. This
service saves our customers time and money by ensuring that all origination
is protected and ready for use again and again.
Experience & Training
People are at the heart of NW, our staff have a vast amount of practical
experience in all aspects of design, digital origination and colour print.
NW was the first printing company in the region to adopt Modern apprentice
schemes and NVQ training. This has ensured that skills are developed and
maintained, and young people given the opportunity to develop confidence.
and progress in the fast moving print industry.
